Mrs. Anita Beard-Johnson joined the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy in January 2011 as the Administrative Officer for the Dean of Faculty and Academic Programs where she serves the Dean of Faculty and two Associate Deans and the department in their Administrative requirements.
Prior to this assignment, Anita worked as the Senior Air Reserve Technician (ART) and Program Analyst with the 459th Civil Engineer Squadron, 459th Mission Support Group, Joint Base Andrews, Department of the Air Force, Maryland from October 2005 to January 2011. There she managed the day-to-day administrative and personnel operations for the Civil Engineer Squadron serving military reservist personnel by supporting their internal and external administrative operations and programs.
Continuing service with the 459th Mission Support Group from January 2002 to September 2005, Anita worked as the Air Reserve Technician for the 69th Aerial Support Squadron as a Resource Management Assistant and a Program Analyst. There she provided administrative management support to military reservist personnel and the 459th Mission Support Squadron, 459th Air Refueling Squadron.
Served with the United States Air Force from April 1982 to November 1990, stationed in various domestically and internationally locations. Anita continued her service in the United States Air Force Reserves from February 1991 to December 2012 where she retired from the United States Air Force Reserves.
After leaving active-duty service, Anita held positions as a Management Analyst; a Donor Services Coordinator and a Fulfillment Buyer and Buyer between November 1990 to March 2001.
