LTC Kevin "Harp" Harper, USA

Assistant Professor

LTC Kevin "Harp" Harper was most recently assigned to The Eisenhower School of National Security and Resources Strategy as an Assistant Professor/Military Faculty. Before this assignment, he was the Brigade Executive Officer for the 401st Army Field Support Brigade at Camp Arifijan, Kuwait. LTC Harper was born in Norfolk, Va., and was commissioned as a branch detailed Armor officer following graduation from Old Dominion University in 2002. He transitioned to Quartermaster after his branch detail assignment ended in 2005.

LTC Harper has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health Education from Old  Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and a Master of Arts degree in Procurement and Acquisitions  Management from Webster University. He graduated from the JCWS, CGSC, CLC3, and the Armor Officers Basic Course.

LTC Harper awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (2 Oak Leaf Clusters), Meritorious  Service Medal (1 Oak Leaf Cluster), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (4  Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal (1 Oak Leaf Cluster), and the Combat Action Badge.

LTC Harper is married to Catalina Canales and has three sons, Troy, Syrus, and Jackson.
