The following links and documents are strongly recommended for reading prior to the commencement of the conference. The current National Security Strategy and National Defense Strategy provide important context surrounding our Nation's security priorities for the foreseeable future. Historically, context is provided into the mobilization of the American defense industrial base before and during WWII with Freedom's Forge and the pinnacle discussions concerning national security at the dawn of the Cold War with Project Solarium.  Additionally, a brief  glimpse into Chinese industrial capacity and various testimonies before Congress regarding the current state of innovation within the DoD are provided to set the tone for the modern discussion.
