Col Schulz has had a very diverse career with command and staff assignments in infantry, reconnaissance, artillery, intelligence, and attaché billets. He most recently commanded the Marine Corps’ Chemical Biological (Nuclear) Incident Response Force. He has served more than half of his career overseas to include contingency operations in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Col Schulz is a graduate of the Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School, the Collège Interarmées de Defense (France), and the National War College. He holds a Master’s Degree in National Security Strategy.
His personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat “V”, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Combat “V”, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
