Commander Evita Salles is a passionate professional who has amassed over 20 years of diverse experience in the military and private sector. She focuses on inspiring her students to embrace their fullest potential and become the best versions of themselves inside and outside the classroom.
Evita is currently serving on the faculty of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy in Washington, DC. She is a prior graduate of the Eisenhower School and a proud Tiger.
Evita began her naval career as a Naval Flight Officer in the P-3C community, followed by public affairs. She is a Human Resources Officer with experience in human resources strategy, policy, talent management, training and development, and DEIB. Evita is SPHR-certified, and her private sector experience includes marketing, finance, and real estate. She is an accomplished public speaker who rocked the “red dot” on the TEDx stage and coaches TEDx speakers.
As a servant leadership ambassador, Evita is recognized globally for influencing organizational culture. She is passionate about mentorship, leadership, and serving a higher purpose.
Evita earned an Ed.D. in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University, an MBA from Rutgers University, an MS in National Resource Strategy from National Defense University, and an MA in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College
