Message from the Commandant

Thank you for your interest in the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.

The Eisenhower School (formerly the Industrial College of the Armed Forces) offers a premier senior leader education for the development and integration of National Security and Resource Strategy.

Our 10-month rigorous accredited curriculum is tailored for select rising senior government and military personnel and industry executives to develop critical, innovative, and ethical decision makers. All graduates will leave our program with a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy. Military officers will also earn Joint Professional Military Education Phase II credit. Our students are selected for their potential as future leaders at the highest levels of the Armed Forces, government service, international partners, and private industry.

Each year, our approximate 300 students average 20+ years of professional experience, and 85% enter the program with a Master's degree or higher. We are the only DOD institution to offer this diverse mix of public and private expertise and perspectives, creating a rich, unparalleled educational experience for our students.

Our exceptional faculty, as diverse as the student body, is comprised of distinguished civilian professors, active duty and retired military, and visiting professors from many government agencies and private industry.  This blend of academic depth with relevant and current experience provides graduates with the tools necessary to develop strategy and align resources to solve our most difficult national security challenges.

Our alumni represent a growing number of general and flag officers, ambassadors, senior executives in government service, and executives in industry. Graduates are recognized practitioners who understand the strategic environment and develop long-term strategy across the spectrum of the national security enterprise, including Joint, Interagency, International, Multinational, and Private Sector activities.

On our website you will find a wealth of information on the Eisenhower experience, our curriculum, academic programs, students, faculty, and much more. We welcome your interest in the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy and invite you to browse this website to learn more about our unique offerings.
