Brigadier General Kirsten G. Aguilar, USAF

Brigadier General Aguilar entered the Air Force in 1997 as a distinguished graduate of the University of New Hampshire’s ROTC program. She holds masters degrees from the University of Maryland, the Naval War College, and the National Defense University. She also holds certificates from George Washington University and UNC-Chapel Hill. Brigadier General Aguilar is a 2016 Distinguished Graduate of the Eisenhower School.

Prior to joining the Eisenhower School, she served as the Director, Military Force Management Policy on the Headquarters Air Force Staff. Brigadier General Aguilar commanded at the squadron, group and wing level and served as the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Installation Commander in Anchorage, AK.

Her other assignments include duties as an AFROTC instructor, an Assignment Officer, and Executive Officer at the Air Force Personnel Center, and as the Executive Assistant to the PACOM Deputy Commander. She deployed to Camp Anaconda, Iraq in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.

Brigadier General Aguilar and her husband, Abraham, have three children, Nathan, Lucas and Emma.
