Mr. Cook is assigned to the Operations Section of the Eisenhower School of National Security and Resource Strategy.
Mr. Cook retired from the U. S. Marine Corps in September 2012 after 22+ years of active and reserve service. He served in the Indo-Pacific region from 1991 to 1994, South America 2002 to 2003, Africa 2004 to 2006, and Europe 2010 to 2012, as well as 2-tours to Iraq in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM 2004, and NEW DAWN 2011.
Mr. Cook has an M.B.A. from Webster University, 2020, completed Command and Staff, Distance Education, from Marine Corps University, 2009, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah, 1990. He possesses the OSHA-30 certification, a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and groundbreaking certifications to operate excavators, agricultural tractors and skid steers. In addition, Mark is highly skilled in felling operations possessing the SQ-212 qualification
