Ms. Niyama Jones

Business Support Specialist

Niyama Jones is Business Support Specialist with Eisenhower School, where she plays an integral role in the schools’ business processes. Her primary duties rely primarily on her communication skills that are essential for the success in providing day to day support to faculty, staff, and students.

Niyama’s professional career began with enlisting in the United States Army reserves as a Human Resource Specialist and later became a Civil Affairs Specialist. She has had various roles within government agencies and organizations such as Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency, The Department of the Army, The Department of the State, The Federal Emergency Management Agency, and USCENTCOM. Her military training has given her a strong background in governmental operations and strategic planning in combat operations such as LOG CAP IV, ISAF, and NATO.

Niyama attributes her work ethics and education to her southern Mississippi upbringing. She graduated from Aberdeen High School, attended Mississippi University for Women, and obtain a degree in Communications with minor in marketing while also serving in the United States Army Reserves. In 2021, with passion in heart, valuable experience, and knowledge in hand, Niyama pursued further studies at Arcadia University in Paris, France, earning her master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy.

Currently residing in Baltimore, MD, Niyama is inspired by culture diversity. Whether its exploring different cuisine, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, Niyama enjoys all things related to culture. One of her ultimate life goals is to travel to all seven continents.
