Richard (Gordon) Bennett is a Canadian Army Logistics Officer with 23 years experience in the army and several years experience in civilian industry. He has held various positions in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) with key billets being the Commandant of the CAF’s national logistics school, Division J4, and staff at the Strategic Joint Staff in National Defense HQ in Ottawa. He has various academic qualifications from a variety of universities in Canada and the US with concentrations in corporate finance, global business, defense studies, leadership, and design thinking while also possessing trade qualifications in construction. He has published four books with the last two being textbooks published through the University of Toronto Press (English) and Université Laval (French). He is the executive producer of Hidden Heroes, a documentary on the history of Canadian military logistics. His wife is a naval training development officer and they are the parents of four children. He is a National Defense University, Eisenhower graduate.
