Colonel Cameron S. Pringle is a military instructor and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force’s Chair at the Eisenhower School, National Defense University. As Air Force Chair, he leads U.S. Air Force students and faculty assigned to the Eisenhower School, and serves as a military instructor in the National Security & Industrial Base department.
Prior to his position at NDU, Col Pringle served as commander, 319th Reconnaissance Wing. In that position, he was the senior officer responsible for leading the premier Global Hawk wing comprised of three groups, 14 squadrons, and three detachments, executing a worldwide RQ-4 mission, and leading aircraft and equipment valued at over $6.2 billion.
Colonel Pringle entered the Air Force in 1996 as a distinguished graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has served in various positions on the Joint Staff and the Air Staff and was a distinguished graduate from the USAF Weapons School. In 2008, he attended the Indonesian Air Command & Staff College in Lembang, Indonesia and also graduated with highest distinction from the Naval War College in Newport, RI in 2015. Colonel Pringle has commanded successfully at the Squadron, Group and Wing Level.
Colonel Pringle is a command pilot with over 2000 hours of flight time in various aircraft including the F-16, F-117, MQ-1, MQ-9, and RQ-4. He has over 170 combat hours and combat support time flying in various operations in Africa, the Balkans, Korea and the Middle East.
