Lourdes Duvall is the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Chair to National Defense University, and NGA Chair and faculty member at the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security & Resource Strategy, National Defense University, Washington D.C.
She most recently served as the advisor for NGA’s Analytic Tradecraft and Technology Group, responsible for guiding analytic modernization initiatives. She previously served as the Deputy Director for Intelligence, Analytic Operations, in NGA’s Analysis Directorate.
Ms. Duvall is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She holds a Master in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and a Master of Military Arts and Science from Air Command & Staff College, where she also served as an instructor and Deputy Department Chair. She is a graduate of Joint Force Staff College, Joint & Combined Warfighting School, and was a Federal Executive Fellow at the Brookings Institution, 21st Century Defense Initiative.
Throughout her career as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Air Force, she supported a wide range of combat and humanitarian operations. She served as the Vice Commander of the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Wing at Langley AFB, commanded the 6th Intelligence Squadron, Osan AB, Republic of Korea, and served on the Air and Joint Staffs.
