The Strategic Leadership Department of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy conducts an Executive Assessment and Development Program (EADP) for the National Defense University. This program is an integral part of the Eisenhower School experience and is a requirement in the ES Strategic Leadership course curriculum. EADP is comprised of three elements. The first is a battery of self-assessment instruments, which is administered online. This extensive battery of instruments assesses your preferences, capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses, particularly geared towards the skills you will need to succeed at the strategic leadership level. The second is a printed, extensive report which is produced by an expert system. The third is a one-on-one feedback session with a certified executive coach.
You will need three to three and a half hours to complete the entire online battery of instruments. We recommend that you do not try to complete all of the instruments at one time. It will work best if you do one or two instruments during one session.
A certified executive coach will provide confidential individual feedback on your results during the first semester of the academic year. This feedback will be invaluable for your understanding of the challenges facing senior leaders and the personal executive skills you need for success.
In order to start the EADP registration process, please e-mail the EADP Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your current e-mail address – indicate in the e-mail subject line that you are an incoming student. We will respond with EADP registration instructions.
